Service Desk Technician Level I

Duties : The Service Desk Technician Level I perform a wide variety of tasks including the provision
of front-line problem isolation and resolution services to Information Services' customers. In addition,
activities, computer system backups, restart / recovery of system processes, archiving of system tapes
and monitoring system and network performance.
Education : Associate degree in Information Technology or related field required; Information
Technology certifications can be substituted for Associate degree; Bachelor’s degree in Information
Technology or related field preferred.
General Experience : Two (2) years of experience in Help Desk or IT support role required; Strong
time management and communication skills to support growing business function; Experience with
Apple, Android and Window device preferred. ITIL V3 Foundation Certification preferred.
Specialized Experience : Experience in IT Service Management (ITSM) principles; Experience with
working with SCCM and ServiceNow.
