Job Posting for Child Care Worker at Shaw Family Child Care

I am a Family day care looking for a late evening aide.

Part-time 12: 00pm to 5:00pm 5 days a week: Monday through Friday

You will need to invest 90% of your day: Conduct daily circle time ( teaching children ages 1.5 to 3.5 years old) Inspiring children to be lifelong learners using our preschool curriculum that promotes social emotional skills, physical development skills, build language skills and overall cognitive development.

The remainder 10% of your work day: preparing your activities for the next day

MUST have at least 1 year of experience in all areas below:

  • Talkative / communicating with children
  • Encouraging language use among the children
  • Animation interactive with teaching circle time
  • Independently supervising/ supporting a groups of 5 to 6 children
  • Working with ages ranging from 2 year old to 4 years old
  • Facilitate/ implement activities (material will be provided)
  • Daily Cleaning / organized
  • Managing / labeling children's emotions
  • Assisting children with restroom needs
  • Changing diapers
  • Serving Lunch and Snacks

Extras: Will provide payment assistance for one of the following requirements Pediatric First aid CPR or Life scan /fingerprinting Clearance

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Internship

Pay: $14.50 per hour
