What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full-Charge Bookkeeper position at ShayCore, LLC?
We are looking to hire an experienced full-charge bookkeeper to perform various accounting duties for some of our companies. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full cycle of accounting duties for your company(ies) as well as supporting our Controllers. The support includes Accounts Receivable and other ancillary duties as assigned.
To ensure success as a full-charge bookkeeper, you should have advanced knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting systems, a strong penchant for accuracy, and a good eye for detail. A skilled full charge bookkeeper efficiently handles all the accounting needs of their company(ies) as well as the other duties as referenced above.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the full cycle of accounting activities for their company(ies) which includes:
- Processing the accounts payable
- Collating and entering vendor expenses
- Invoicing clients and customers
- Processing accounts receivable
- Maintaining the accuracy of the general ledger
- Preparing monthly financial statements
- Supporting the Controllers with invoicing and other duties
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- Previous experience as a full-charge bookkeeper
- Advanced knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping software
- Construction experience is highly preferred
- Experience preparing financial statements
- Ability to work to a strict deadline
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills
