What You'll Do

The Digital Marketing Manager reports to the VP of Marketing. They develop and manage digital lead generation, nurture campaigns across all channels throughout North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Australia, and New Zealand markets; and ensure that lead generation and revenue targets are exceeded while maintaining budgets. They help us own and drive our digital strategy across all of our digital assets and footprints, marketing us as the savvy and smart company that we are.

A Day in the Life

  • Owns and drives our digital strategy across all of our digital assets and footprints, including our marketing automation, analytics, website, paid search and display, social media, and SEO
  • Leads the current digital team (Web Developer and PPC Specialist) while identifying future roles required to drive digital effectiveness and success in line with business objectives    
  • Owns conversion optimization across the entire customer journey, from website to customer advocacy
  • Implements prior experience and current trends in consumer digital marketing to oversee current product offerings
  • Scans the market, leads, and customers for trends and opportunities on new products and services that can be monetized
  • Develops new Google Ads (search, display, and video)
  • Leads generation and retargeting campaigns while tuning, tweaking, and optimizing existing search and display campaigns 
  • Works with the Content Manager to develop and execute global and local SEO strategies, including content marketing, on-page optimization, and link building to drive web visits and leads
  • Develops and executes paid lead generation, retargeting, and nurturing campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
  • Works with our Demand-Gen Specialist to build and execute lead nurturing and customer lifecycle campaigns
  • Ensures all marketing automation features of HubSpot are exploited to their full potential, including analytics, reports, and dashboards
  • Works with the Content Manager to develop and manage organic social media content strategy on Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and beyond in an effort to deliver engagement, value, and leads
  • Works with external agencies to lead the design and development of a new corporate website
  • Optimizes website and landing pages through experimentation of new technologies, design, and content
  • Uses keen interest in new technologies to continually analyze and optimize web traffic
  • Identifies issues that need to be fixed and finds opportunities to drive web visits and leads
  • Monitors, reports, and presents key marketing data, sales data, and metrics to stakeholders, including the VP of Marketing, regional sales leaders, and Product Marketing

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field
  • 6+ years’ experience in digital marketing
  • Experience working within a software and/or SaaS start-up or scale-up business, OR excellent understanding of what is required to be successful in this type of environment
  • Great depth of digital knowledge
  • The ability to think strategically, but also roll-up your sleeves to deliver the plan tactically (not through agencies)
  • Proven track record of increasing acquisition and revenue via digital acquisition
  • Strong experience of working with aggregators
  • Ability to implement and oversee analytics
  • Willingness to continually learn about what’s new and trendy in the digital marketing world
  • Experience of working in a “product-led” organization is preferred
