Job Overview
Shear Madness Haircuts for Kids primarily serves kids from 12 months to 12 years old. Our salon is fun, exciting and sometimes loud. We have fun, we have toys, and sometimes a bit of crying. We don't care - we just keep going. Our stylists are fun, friendly and moving fast.

We are seeking a friendly and organized Salon Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in our salon.

This role requires strong communication skills, retail sales experience, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly upon arrival and provide them with information about services offered.
- Manage appointment scheduling through phone calls and in-person inquiries.
- Utilize phone etiquette to handle incoming calls professionally and effectively.
- Process transactions using the POS system, ensuring accuracy in sales and payments.
- Assist with retail toy and hair products sales.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area, including stocking supplies as needed.
- Assist staff in keeping floors and salon clean.
- Address client inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with salon staff to ensure smooth operations and excellent service delivery.

Qualifications
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in sales transactions.
- Experience with POS systems is a plus.
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and a passion for the beauty industry are essential.
- Previous experience in a retail environment is beneficial but not required.
