What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sheet Metal Fabricator position at Sheet Metal Solutions?
Looking for a reliable sheet metal fabricator to fill a full-time position in an industrial sheet metal shop in Tangent, OR. Job duties will include forming, welding and installation of fabricated parts in the local area.
Standard Shop hours are Monday – Friday 7am-3:30pm; Optional overtime as needed.
Starting Pay DOE
Must be able to pass a pre-employment non-DOT drug screen. (screening includes marijuana).
Qualifications:
- Employees must be 18 years of age.
- Employee must be physically able to lift 50 lbs.
- Employee must be able to provide their own hand tools.
- Employee must have experience in fabricating flat sheet metal to prints, using non-cnc equipment and sheet metal hand tools.
- Employee must have welding skills.
- Ability to weld hard wire/short arc and TIG is a plus.
- Installation experience is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $34.00 per hour
