We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the dentist with patient care, maintaining equipment and supplies, and ensuring a clean and organized dental office environment.
Duties:
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and other materials
- Take dental x-rays and process them for the dentist to review
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical documentation and medical records
- Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and recording medical history
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Perform CAD (computer-aided design) duties as needed
- Work with pediatric patients as needed
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of medical coding
- Familiarity with CAD software

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assistant program
- Current certification in dental assisting
