Summary: The Store Manager is responsible for day-to-day store operations, including scheduling, training, and supervising employees. The Store Manager is responsible for the store profits, and all controllable expenses including labor, inventory levels, and cash and inventory shortages.
Essential job duties for this position include the following items.
▪ Provide a positive work environment to attract and maintain a quality base through selective hiring, proper training, and coaching.
▪ Maximize store profitability by increasing sales, controlling expenses, and controlling cash and inventory losses.
▪ Ensure excellent customer service is provided by all team members.
▪ Review sales, inventory, and payroll to measure productivity and store profitability to determine areas needing cost reduction and improvement.
▪ Ensure team members follow safe food handling, sanitation, and industry procedures as well as other company policies and procedures.
▪ Manage store layouts and design product displays.
▪ Perform sales floor work such as greeting and assisting customers, cash handling, and stocking shelves.
▪ Promote the rewards program as well as the approved merchandise or marketing programs.
▪ Maintain a well-organized, stocked, safe, and clean work environment.
▪ Complete store paperwork, order merchandise, and create work schedules.
▪ Report and process all employee and/ or customer incidents or accidents following company procedure.
▪ Work toward continuous quality improvement.
▪ Stay current with changing technology, including software and job specific programs.
▪ Uphold, support, and promote all company policies and procedures
Other duties must be performed as assigned or required.
