General Summary:
- The First Episode Psychosis Program is an exciting early intervention program that utilizes a critical time intervention model to treat adolescents and young adults with symptoms of psychosis.
- The interdisciplinary team provides diagnostic assessments, psychotherapy, medication evaluation and management and EBP Family Psychoeducation.
- Psychotherapy is based on cognitive and behavioral treatment principles and the team emphasizes resilience training, illness and wellness management, development of general coping skills and family psychoeducation about psychosis and its treatment. Training and consultation is provided.
Required:
- This position requires an experienced master’s level clinician who is licensed in Maryland as an LMSW, LGPC, LCSW-C, or LCPC.
- Experience providing psychotherapy to adolescents and young adults.
- Must have driver’s license and good driving record (not more than 3 points).
Location: Sheppard Pratt · First Episode Psychosis Program (Gaithersburg)
Schedule: Full Time (benefits eligible), Day Shift, 9:00 am-5:00 pm
