Your Position
Are you a driven, creative, graphic designer who wants to work in a collaborative, flexible setting? Shero Commerce, a full-service digital marketing agency is seeking a part-time Marketing Graphic Designer who will bring innovation and passion while helping us elevate the Shero brand through high-level work for our clients. Our ideal candidate is a versatile, cross-functional individual who works well in a fully remote team setting and appreciates diverse project work.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Create digital imagery, aligned with brand standards and requirements, for:
Blog posts 1-2x week
Case Study images/layout: 1-2x month
Social media images
Whitepapers to coincide with blog posts; a lot of back posts to consider
Seasonal updates to website and social images
Email design/templates- mutiple series
Additional 'as needed tasks'
Landing pages
Slide decks & presentations
Tradeshow materials- design tangible marketing collateral such as business cards, merchandise and promotional items etc.
Printed materials
Blog redesign
Prioritize and manage multiple projects to deliver each on time and within budget
Test graphics across various media
Participate in brainstorming sessions for marketing & creative initiatives to reach our target personas
Work collaboratively with other Marketing team members on strategy wnd workflow
Requirements
3-5 years of professional experience in Graphic Design
Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web
Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles
Time management with exceptional attention to detail
Experience in multimedia design
Able to adapt to brand
Able to switch tasks if a new last-minute priority comes up
Strong communication & self-management skills
Proficiency with our tools:
Mac OS: This position requires using a Mac, as some of our design tools are Mac-only.
Sketch: Editing existing pages & creating new pages
InVision: Sharing designs for collaboration & feedback; layout for newsletters, web pages, etc.
Adobe Photoshop: Editing images & creating mock-ups
Adobe Illustrator (or an equivalent tool of your choice): Editing illustrations, icons, etc.
Email marketing tools like MailChimp, Klayvio, etc.
Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects
Strong analytical skills
Not Required, but Major Bonuses:
Bachelor's degree in graphic arts, design, communications, or related field
Experience in creating videos (animated or editing recorded footage)
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and other frontend technologies
