This position primarily serves as an employee advocate and business partner by implementing and executing programs to drive the Division Strategies and Company Initiatives. The Division HR Generalist will support the Area HR Managers and Vice Presidents in the execution of HR practices, programs, policies, processes across multiple Areas within the Division.
The Division HR Generalist will support the Area HR Managers with responsibility for providing employee services, employee relations, HR administration, training and development, and retention efforts to increase Area Sales Performance Results. This includes supporting all Training and Development programs that allow the Division to achieve their overall business strategies and objectives.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
1. HR ADMINISTRATION:
a. Ensure data integrity of all Human Resource systems.
b. Manage salary approvals in accordance with Division compensation policy.
c. Provide Fair Credit Reporting Act notification assistance to AHRMs when needed.
d. Assist with Affirmative Action quarterly plans, annual compensation analysis and good faith efforts.
2. EMPLOYEE RELATIONS:
a. Promote and maintain positive employee relations in a safe and productive work environment.
b. Administer policies and procedures and make recommendations for change as needed.
c. Communicate accurately and appropriately with other employees and vendors in a timely manner.
d. Ensure compliance with all national, regional and local laws and regulations.
e. Support or manage investigations or Employee Relations issues.
3. RECRUITMENT AND ONBOARDING:
a. Manage steps throughout recruiting process including, but not limited to conducting interviews and making hire recommendations.
b. Assist in onboarding activities.
4. EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT:
a. Manage employee events (recognition, fundraisers, volunteer programs, etc.) as needed.
b. Provide support to management throughout employee retention efforts (i.e., roundtables/groups, etc.)
5. EFFECTIVE BUSINESS PARTNER
a. Partner with HR Professionals to execute Company Initiatives.
b. Support stakeholders within Division to achieve goals.
6. TALENT MANAGEMENT
a. Identify growth opportunities to ensure that employee capabilities meet current and future standards.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
1. FORMAL EDUCATION:
a. Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Academic Degree
b. Preferred:
• Focus in Human Resources or business related field
2. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
a. Required:
• Must have 3-5 years of previous experience in Human Resources or a related field
b. Preferred (may indicate preferred certifications):
• Human Resource Certifications
3. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
* Must be able to sit, stand, hear, and see on a constant basis.
* Must be able to walk, write, and type on a frequent basis.
* Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing.
* Employee must be able to operate a computer and communicate via telephone.
* Some travel to other locations, meetings and/or seminars is required.
4. TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
a. Required:
• Must be knowledgeable in computer systems (Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Power Point, and Access)
• Demonstrate skills in database management and record keeping.
• Creating onboarding programs.
• Demonstrate experience with legal documentation (Investigations, Wage surveys, Performance appraisals/reviews, etc.)

30% travel maybe required
