Major Tasks Include:
- Schedule production at the facility
- Adjust production schedule to accommodate emergency situations
- Review exception reports to ensure customer service defined by division goals
- Product availability, order completeness, inventory deployment, transportation costs
- Issue batch tickets to blending and production floor
- Research and report on any issues regarding batch ticket questions or concerns
- Update pull boards to meet customer requirements
- Order raw materials and packaging components
- Maintain systems to ensure accurate information and timely production of product to meet customer service goals
- Expedite order changes as needed, such as requirement or delivery date changes
- Maintain accurate records of purchases through system and supply requisites
- Review acknowledgements of purchase order on a daily basis for any discrepancies
- Initiate and maintain effective and professional relationships with suppliers
- Review MRP daily for unusual production to determine inventory quantities and levels
- Participate towards completion of other related tasks and duties as directed or needed
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment visa status, now or in the future
- Must have Bachelor’s Degree or at least 4 years experience in lieu of education
- Must have at least one (1) year of experience in a Supply Chain function or completion of the GSC Accelerated Development program
- Previous experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Previous experience in procurement and scheduling
- Experience procuring/buying in a manufacturing environment
- Prior experience with computer software such as QAD, Oracle, SAP
- Willingness to relocate if considered for future promotional opportunities
- Proven customer service and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage time and resources to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
- Proven ability to partner with others and earn their trust to ensure meeting the team's goals.
