Job Description– Deskside Support Technician
Looking for a passionate individual for a Deskside Support consultant who will be responsible for onsite (primary) and remote break\fix support. The candidate must have experience working in a multinational IT infrastructure; experience supporting C-Level executives is a plus.
Relevant Experience – 5 plus years
Key Requirements
- Should be familiar with both software and hardware break\fix, Dell and Lenovo experience a plus.
- Should be very familiar with the Microsoft Office 365 suite: local, online, and mobile applications, including device management
- Should be familiar with imaging computers, software installation processes and troubleshooting failures
- General knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs
- Conduct troubleshooting for both on and offsite users
- Familiar with network services, router, and switch concepts
- Experience preferred on Cisco VPN, Windows 10, Disk Encryption, Printing services
- Should have basic home printer support knowledge
- Address user tickets regarding hardware, software, and networking
- Should be able to manage and maintain assets using ServiceNow
- Communicate effectively with end users in all stages of the incident management process
- Should be proactive and have a technical appetite to explore and obtain resolutions for unknown issues
- Present a positive, effective, and flexible contribution to achieving team targets and objectives
- Document all pertinent user information, request/issue details and troubleshooting steps taken in ServiceNow
- Should be able to interact with several support teams to restore service and/or identify and correct core problem.
