Job Description

We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Salesforce Consultant to join our Infrastructure and Operations team in our Sydney office. The Salesforce consultant will work with internal customers to gather and understand business requirements, recommend best practice, and assist in the administration of the Salesforce environment.

Main Responsibilities / Duties:

• Gather, analyse & build requirements, working closely with the business stakeholders, end users & technical stake holders.
• Collaborate with the relevant business units and/or technical teams & facilitate solution design. Inclusive of working alongside remote Salesforce development team utilizing design principles & best practices where applicable.
• Configuration & administration of the Salesforce platform & connected technologies where relevant.
• Recommend new features and improvements to optimise the use of our Salesforce platform & improve overall adoption.
• Identifying technical improvements, gaps, and upgrades.
• Release and environment management including sandbox usage planning, metadata and data migration/data load, environment comparisons and version control.
• Recommending and executing engineering process improvements including automation, CI/CD and/or integration
• Taking the lead on projects, coordinating, and working with internal developers. 

Qualifications

Experience / Skills: 

• 5 years’ experience within Salesforce and Marketing Cloud eco-system
• Experience in SCRUM/ AGILE methodologies
• Proven project experience and hands on administration in large and complex Sales/Service Cloud environments - Marketing Cloud is highly desirable.
• Deep understanding of and experience in Salesforce components & SF system configuration & integration
• Background in Salesforce System Administration (desirable)
• Experience working with Q2 products – highly desirable
• Skilled in Stakeholder management, Engagement and Leadership.
• Experience working with remote development teams.
