Responsibilities
Job Summary: The Enterprise Applications Support Manager will have direct oversight responsibilities for the Enterprise Applications Support team and be responsible for coordinating resources, maintaining services, and ensuring uptime levels and support for enterprise applications consisting of but not limited to our ERP, HRIS, CRM, Project Services, Estimating, Integration Platforms, and other enterprise class systems as assigned. This position requires a strategic leader with demonstrated experience in evaluating, making recommendations, and implementing improvements to existing technology utilization and processes. IT project management and planning, vendor relationship management, change management, budget management, and organizational strategic planning skills are key for this role.
They will also ensure all systems and technological functions comply to legal, ethical, and in-house standards set forth by the organization and leadership. These activities will include but not be limited to training, security, licensing, governance, automation, processes, asset management and systems creation and development. They will work alongside other technology teams and business units to ensure their team is able to apply and report utilizing given technology in a manner that will enable the business to be both successful and effective. This position will also ensure training of staff as needed on the defined changes.
Skills & Traits: The incumbent must be able to evaluate risk, be able to act expeditiously to make decisions, understanding the factors associated with decision-making in a technological environment. This position requires original thinking and judgment in the development and deployment of technical solutions to meet Shimmick’s enterprise applications needs.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide direct oversight for the Enterprise Application Support team.
- Provide input and collaboration in the analysis, selection, deployment, integration, maintenance, support, operation, and documentation of enterprise applications systems and technologies to meet a broad range of business needs in support of the company’s operational goals.
- Manage teams and personnel (internal/external) in support of the overall IT mission and operational goals.
- Oversees the administration, maintenance, support, and documentation of the company’s enterprise applications; directs, leads, and manages as necessary.
- Works with diverse business groups, vendors, and customers to implement strategic objectives for the IT organization.
- Plans and implements improvements in all areas of IT responsibility.
- Mentors and encourages development of junior level employees to take responsibility for their development within the company.
- Work closely with the IT Senior Management team in planning, directing, and implementing short- and long-range objectives, including budget planning, and evaluating results and progress toward implementing the IT strategic plan.
- Works closely with teammates and business stakeholders to ensure enterprise applications and services are delivered to meet customer expectations.
- Maintain knowledge of laws, regulations, company strategies to assess impact, and consult with clients as subject matter expert.
- Conducting ongoing analysis of processes in line with industry regulations.
- Stay up to date with the latest technology and improvement strategies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Project Management
- Participates and can lead the project management process on assigned projects and tasks. May lead project teams, document issues, action items, user requirements, or ensure deliverables are met.
- Participates in coordination of internal and external teams to gain consensus on deliverables from each project team.
- Accountable for the timely delivery of assigned deliverables as per established schedules, by working closely with the internal and external teams.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- BA/BS 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of relevant industry processes
- 2-5 years AEC (Architectural, Engineering, Construction) industry experience preferred
- Ability to identify cost-saving measures and improvement strategies
- Advanced knowledge of business management software
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to coordinate projects and lead multiple teams
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Additional Information:
- Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test

- The salary range for this position is between $110,000 - 130,000 per year depending on experience and/or education
