What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Partnerships Manager position at Shipyard?
We're looking for a Data Partnerships Manager to join our team and build mutually beneficial relationships with members of and companies in the data space. You’ll be responsible for building, optimizing, and growing our partner referral program from scratch. Your goals also include earning podcast, webinar, speaking, content, and other opportunities for our data experts, while conversely securing data experts to take part in our own content creation efforts. Besides working with other members of our go-to-market (GTM) team, i.e. marketing and sales, you’ll also be working with our integrations and engineering teams.
This role is remote in the US only.
What will you do as a Data Partnerships Manager at Shipyard?
- You’ll research, build, and prioritize targeted lists of people and companies fitting our criteria that you believe will make great partners for our referral program
- You’ll learn the best practices of high-performance referral programs and iterate on our plans based on what you feel makes the most sense for Shipyard
- You’ll learn and work to continuously improve our program’s positioning, messaging, offer(s), content, and all other aspects of our referral efforts
- You’ll oversee landing page optimization, partner opportunities and revenue, and our holistic approach to our referral program as one of the main pillars of our GTM efforts
- You’ll research, build, and prioritize targeted lists of influencers and opportunities for our data experts to reach our audience through podcasts, speaking engagements, etc
- You’ll research and build a backlog of guests and contributors for our own content efforts in alignment with members of our GTM team
- You’ll build trusting and mutually beneficial relationships with potential/partners, content creators, and data experts, securing opportunities for Shipyard across all of your projects
