The Manager, Global Digital Media is responsible for developing, supporting, and executing the digital media strategy for SHISEIDO Makeup. This individual will work closely with the Director of Global Digital Strategy and Social Engagement to evolve the global digital media strategy to meet the needs and business objectives of the organization.
This person will champion digital content creation for SHISEIDO Makeup international regions, collaborating with regional division heads to implement processes, facilitate best practices and provide counsel with the goal of strengthening the digital footprint of SHISEIDO across the globe. The Manager will also spearhead global initiatives and digital activations to foster innovation for the brand.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
This person will champion digital content creation for SHISEIDO Makeup international regions, collaborating with regional division heads to implement processes, facilitate best practices and provide counsel with the goal of strengthening the digital footprint of SHISEIDO across the globe. The Manager will also spearhead global initiatives and digital activations to foster innovation for the brand.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for translating the global marketing plan into a strategic digital messaging plan that balances both brand and commercial objectives for site and email
- Spearheads the implementation and optimization of the global digital media strategy, including key paid media priorities, owned dotcom content optimizations, creative briefing, earned media lockups and asset management
- Key Liaison between brand stakeholders and markets, pushing forward execution of key digital campaigns against global business priorities
- Ensures cohesive execution of media campaigns across all of North America, European and Asian markets
- Oversees region-specific digital executions in partnership with Region heads and Regional Digital counterparts
- Implement KPIs for digitally savvy markets, establishing benchmarks and guidelines for owned digital rollouts, paid media placements and retailer lockups
- Maintains a deep understanding of performance KPI’s and conducts weekly and seasonal analysis on all digital assets
- Oversees quantitative/qualitative analysis for market initiatives, identifying key insights to optimize brand strategy for future launches
- Key partner in global digital matrix, ensuring ongoing digital growth as it relates to virtual try on, A/R capabilities and dotcom navigational optimizations
- Digital project manager for special projects, launches and earned collaborations
- Partner with key cross-functional teams including Global Marketing, Creative, Artistry and Global Communications to develop and enact consumer driven digital strategies and activations
- Serve as Digital liaison with Regional Marketing Teams to ensure best-in-class executions
- BS/BA required, Marketing degree preferred
- 4 -5 Years of Digital Experience
- Track record of building brand awareness with an eye for messaging, digitally native content and socially driven stories
- Significant experience and a proven track record of executing digital communication strategies and tracking ROI analysis as a result
- Experience managing and negotiating with external partners (Agents, talent, vendors)
- Experience working globally within a B2C focused brand or agency environment
- Must have a good handle on current trending influencers and pop culture
- Proactive, self-sufficient working style – able to manage process across several teams
- Needs to be a creative problem solver, thrive in fast paced environment, prioritize and oversee multiple projects at once
- Strong attention to detail and works well with cross functional teams
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate complex ideas and processes in a simplified manner
- Adept in creative problem-solving, extremely resourceful, and proactive
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
