We are seeking a dedicated Construction Supervisor to join our environmental remediation construction team in Midland, TX.
This individual will be responsible for directing the efforts of construction personnel on one or more large and/or complex environmental projects to ensure that all services are responsive to the client’s needs, including being on time and within an identified scope and budget.
Coordinates with the interoffice and departmental personnel, equipment and technical experts required to complete the assigned projects and actively promotes and provides solutions to meet client’s needs. The supervisor will respond and advise on project proposals, manage equipment, mentor and advise environmental staff, train technicians/operators/laborers and oversee the quality of the project.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain construction equipment and machines.
- Assist equipment operators and other skilled labor when necessary.
- Prep construction sites and develop a plan to complete the project.
- Load or unload construction materials.
- Implement and/or develop HSE plans prior to commencing projects
- Provide instruction and training to laborers and operators.
- Complete, maintain, and submit paperwork required for projects.
- Communicate with project managers and clients as the construction lead on a project
- Must have valid driver license.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma.
- Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks.
- Ability to work in all weather.
- Workers must be punctual and reliable.
- 2 years experience in a construction supervisory role in the oil and gas construction/remediation industry is required.
