Account Director

Shopkick is on a mission to bring delight and reward to the consumer shopping experience. As part of the Trax Retail family, we are a pre-IPO unicorn looking to accelerate our growth trajectory as we partner with major brands and retailers, ranging from H&M and Unilever to Best Buy and Purina, to transform the way people engage with stores and products, both online and in the physical world.

Shopkick is in search of a Account Director to help lead our Brand Partnerships efforts in Bentonville. This person will work closely with senior management and the national brand partnerships team. The Senior Account Executive will be tasked with driving revenue for Shopkick through shopper marketing integrations with media and shopper marketing clients. This person will own, foster and grow client/agency relationships with CPG Teams calling on Walmart. The Senior Account Executive must have a passion for great customer service and deliver results to clients that are on target and on time. This person will work with the Region Vice President to help drive demand for execution of advertising/marketing plans with Fortune 500 clients. Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Evangelize the Shopkick application and brand value proposition to the country’s largest marketers and their agency partners with a particular focus on the Northwest Arkansas Market.
• Build and close a pipeline of campaigns and partnerships with Fortune 500 shopper marketers across the CPG landscape.
• Develop strategic leadership and consultation to both agencies and shopper marketing clients.
• Meet and exceed revenue targets and other business health KPIs
• Connect with partners and agencies to build/nurture relationships
• Identify and oversee account growth and relationships building for a defined territory
• Interface with executives and day-to-day contacts at partner organizations

Qualifications:

• 4+ years work experience in Shopper Marketing Industry (client-side, agency and media vendor)
• Curious problem solver who loves collaboration and innovation
• Established track record of forecasting business and meeting sales objectives
• Excellent client management and communication/interpersonal skills
• Outstanding presentation, written and oral skills
• Knowledge of new media/marketing channels, monetization models and the overall business landscape
• Must be self-starter, organized and detail oriented
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work effectively across internal functions
• Media and Agency experience a HUGE plus
