Shoreline Fruit is the largest tart cherry producer in North America operating over 6000 acres of cherry orchards in Michigan, growing and processing over 50 million pounds of cherries each year. We are searching for an IT Support Specialist that is able to interact across all levels of the company and with people of diverse backgrounds, roles, and experience. Someone who enjoys the challenges of continuous improvement, collaboration, and problem solving.

What you will be doing - High level:
- The IT Support Specialist will promote the use of company technologies to provide support to our manufacturing facilities and corporate office. You will be collaborating with staff support, managing and optimizing the use of information systems, software, hardware, and network resources, and providing support on a wide range of applications including Microsoft and ERP software.
What you will be doing - A bit more detailed:
- Provide front-line onsite and remote technical support to identified locations, including troubleshooting hardware, standardized and proprietary software, VOIP telephones, mobile devices, VPN, printers, computers, and network connectivity.
- Configure, deploy, and maintain Windows computers and network printers in an enterprise environment.
- Provide support for all Technology products and services. Support may include answering questions over the phone, troubleshooting problems, teaching or instructing staff regarding software or hardware functionality, and communicating policy.
- Assist in the review, auditing and implementation of technology needs for the company.
- Work with a team to provide technology tools and solutions to streamline current processes within the company.
- Review current processes and software and determine ways to improve upon them
- Research questions using the available information resource and advises user on appropriate action.
- Stay current with system information, changes and updates.
- Perform other duties as assigned including lean manufacturing thought processes and tools.

What you need:
- Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or a minimum of 2 years related experience.
- Familiarity with a wide range of standard office automation products including SharePoint and Office 365.
- Bilingual - English/Spanish a big plus.
