CIM Specialist II

Job Description: We are looking for a Civil InformationModel (CIM) Specialist II to advance project delivery and related technologyfor our horizontal disciplines. Duties:

• Support CIM data collection, design, management, and visualization initiatives.
• Provide end-user CIM technology support and troubleshooting.
• Develop, document, and create awareness around CIM processes.
• Create and manage CIM content.
• Work with stakeholders to outline desired outcomes andsolutions that provide those capabilities.
• Maintain a high level of CIM technology knowledge through continuingeducation and training.t
• Research and recommend emerging CIM technology.
• Coordinate new application releases and software updates.
• Outline and facilitate training needed to support CorporateCIM initiatives.
• Facilitate and lead user group meetings to share developments and discuss future initiatives
  

Required Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in drafting, engineering orsimilar field of study with an emphasis on BIM (experience may be considered inlieu of degree).
• 5 years or more of professional experience with CIM technologies
• 5 years or more supporting company CIM initiatives.
• 5 years or more in the private AEC industry
• Detail oriented with strong professional, organizational, interpersonal skills.
• Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot technology issues.
• Ability to work in a team environment while independently managing workloads.

Preferred Requirements:

• Looking for experience in the following areas
• Educating or training others in CIM technology.
• Leading work groups or teams.
• Possess or in pursuit of CAD / CIM / VDC certificate oraccreditation.
• CAD software including, but not limited to, AutodeskAutoCAD, Civil 3D and Bentley MicroStation, Power GeoPaK, Power InRoads,OpenRoads Designer.
• Cloud collaboration platforms including, but not limited to,Autodesk Construction Cloud, ProjectWise, SharePoint.
• Project Information Management including, but not limitedto, Newforma, TonicDM.
• Redline and digital markups including, but not limited to,Bluebeam.
• Automation / programming languages including, but notlimited to, Dynamo, Python.
• Visualization technologies for renderings, walk-throughs,AR, VR including, but not limited to, Enscape, Lumion3D, Twinmotion,InfraWorks.
• Point cloud registration and processing from terrestrial orairborne source including, but not limited to, ReCap Pro, Trimble BusinessCenter, ContextCapture, ArcGIS Site Scan.
• Point-cloud and lidar data collection solutions including,but not limited to, laser scanning, drones.
• Data analysis and visualization including, but not limitedto, Power BI, Tableau.
• Project Management or CIM Execution Plans.
• Implementation or support of asset / facility management solutions
