Short-Redmond Ford is searching for highly driven and professional Used Car Technicians to join our team!

This is a full-time position, M-F, 8am-5pm.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect used vehicle and diagnose any issues.
• Perform quality repair/maintenance work that meets dealership and manufacturer standards including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc.
• Provide an estimate of time and parts needed for repair/maintenance.
• Learn new technical information and techniques in training sessions to stay current with rapidly changing technology.
• Keep shop neat and account for dealership owned tools.
• Other duties may be assigned according to skill level and certification.

Qualifications:

• 1 year minimum experience as a Used Car Technician in a reputable dealership or mechanic shop- REQUIRED
• ASE Certified is a plus!
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Good work ethic and problem-solving skills
• A positive attitude and works well as part of a team.
• Prior military encouraged to apply!
• Natural ability to connect with customers and build relationships.
• Friendly and outgoing personality.
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
• Stellar follow-up ability.
• Strong attendance record and punctual!
• Must have clean background record

Potential Earning-

DOE of experience flat rate $16-$23.
