Position Overview:
The mission of Showpad’s Director, Business Systems, reporting to our VP, Revenue Operations and collaborating with cross-functional business leaders, is to create efficient business systems processes and optimize workflows to help scale the business, improve business insights and minimize redundancies. This person will drive the overall strategy and architecture of Showpad’s GTM information systems by working with functional leaders to understand business objectives and systems needs and gaps between current systems and those objectives.
This individual will be responsible for build, testing, deployment, delivery, planning and reporting for all existing and new enterprise business systems. They will work cross-functionally with various departmental leaders to ensure Showpad optimizes its existing systems and evaluates and integrates any new systems. They will be responsible for managing technical resources, risk management and internal and external communications.
Showpad’s Director, Business Systems will report to the VP of Revenue Operations and collaborate directly with senior GTM, R&D, Finance and other leaders. This is a hybrid work role with preference for candidates based in Chicago, IL.
Key Responsibilities for the Director of Business Systems:
- Architect Showpad’s information systems to optimize OKRs, solve business problems, ensure data quality, scale, security, reliability and availability
- Lead requirements gathering sessions to ensure solution fit to Showpad’s business needs
- Lead internal team of technical systems professionals as well as external resources
- Create and monitor program estimates, timelines, project plans and status reports
- Maintain business systems workflows, documentation and provisioning
- Build and maintain key relationships across the company; lead, develop and mentor the Business Systems team to be seen as “in service” of internal and external stakeholders
- This position will lead a team and is also expected to be a hands-on contributor in the completion of the roles and responsibilities described above
Minimum Requirements for the Director of Business Systems:
- Ability to understand high-level sales strategies, translate them into system, process requirements, and ensure local execution with positive business impact
- Advanced Excel skills (or equivalent) with a strong understanding of data modeling
- Experience implementing and designing CRM systems (e.g., SalesForce.com) with associated applications
- Strong technical understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and Google suite,, sales reporting platforms, and CRM platforms required
- Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred. Degrees in Finance or Accounting are highly preferred
- Demonstrated policy and procedure development
- Deep experience utilizing financial modeling to build strong use cases (Excel or other advanced models)
- Complex contract administration and negotiation experience
- Expertise with Salesforce.com, preferably Admin training
- Strong interest in healthcare technology sales
Travel Requirements:
This particular role will require travel 5% of the time internationally and domestically.
