What We Are Looking For:
We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, self-starter to join our Finance/Accounting Team and under the general guidance of the Director of Accounting, assist in a number of areas, including:
- Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages, analyzing variances to plan and prior year, and assessing past and current performance.
- Provide excel expertise and support in preparation of all billing import files.
- Prepare forecasting and planning documentation and support, including estimating future revenue and expenses based on clearly documented assumptions. Clearly assess all risks and opportunities.
- Assist in month-end Revenue analysis, including posting journal entries and reconciling Revenue-related accounts.
- Performing key analytics to support critical decision making, including pricing and customer trending.
- Clearly communicate actual and forecasted results to all levels of management exhibiting strong verbal and written communication skills.
The ideal candidate would be able to:
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support company-wide projects and objectives.
- Efficiently manage a large variety of projects.
- Proactively seek innovative ways to streamline operations and follows through in implementing new processes and facilitates collaboration cross departmentally.
- Quickly understand SHP’s programs and services and key unit economics.
- Assess potential risks, benefits and consequences of decisions.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Highly developed Excel skills, including financial modeling, data analytics, data sorting.
- Proven ability at financial modeling and forecasting.
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills that will foster and model teamwork and effective working relationships.
- Able to work in fast-paced, detail and deadline-oriented environment.
- 2-5 years of experience in financial analyst role.
- BA/BS.
- MS Office required, NetSuite preferred.

The Financial Analyst position is a FT Monday-Friday schedule. There is some flexibility in the daily start and end times and we are open to this role working remote.
