ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT / RECEPTIONIST - PART-TIME

You could be an important part of that future! The role of part-time Administrative Assistant / Receptionist is a multi-purposed and collaborative position that supports our Office Administrator as well as the day to day needs of the internal design and support staff.

This role is the face of the firm, and is critical to smooth management of our daily operations; therefore, a consistent daily presence in our fun, artistic and harmonious downtown Cincinnati office is expected.

Duties may vary depending upon workload and demand but will regularly include the following :

  • Greet clients, consultants and guests
  • Answering a multi-line phone system
  • Sorting, distributing and sending mail
  • Receiving and sending out packages via UPS and other courier services
  • Operating the office copiers, scanners, printers and fax machines
  • Setting up lunch meetings such as "Lunch & Learns" and managing conference room reservations
  • Assisting with AV & teleconferencing needs
  • Covering lunch breaks for the Office Administrator
  • Assist in maintaining / stocking office and kitchen supplies

Skills Required :

  • Ability and desire to support the enriching and engaging culture of SHP...Simply Helping People!
  • Reliable, flexible, courteous, cheerful good human!
  • Knowledge of MS Office, particularly Word & Excel is required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as accept direction on given assignments; quick and eager to learn
  • Proactive problem-solving skills
  • Prior experience in a similar role is preferred
  • Approximately 16 hours / week (Monday - Thursday 10 : 00am - 2 : 00pm) with ability to flex on occasion to cover Office Administrator time off
