Samaritan Health Services has an opportunity for an Outpatient Adult Therapist (LPC, LCSW, PsyD/PhD)
Samaritan Health Services is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Licensed Clinical/Counseling Psychologist to join our Outpatient Mental Health providers serving adults in three counties across mid-Oregon. Job Specifics
- Position based in Corvallis, OR, with some travel around surrounding communities
- Mon – Fri, 8a-5p; 25 patient contact hours weekly
- Provide services through a hybrid in-person and telemedicine approach
- Provide outpatient therapy to adult patients in largely rural area(s) with mild to severe mental health illness
- Minimal weekday call – for own patients only; no overnight call responsibilities
- Coordinates care with other providers and agencies as needed
- Coordinates referral processes as needed
- Opportunity to engage with a variety of learners – psychology trainees, and psychiatry residents and fellows
·Job Requirements
- Currently licensed/license eligible in Oregon in psychology, social work, or other appropriate clinical therapy and must meet credentialing standards
- Experience with evidence based, short term psychotherapy modalities
- Knowledge of ethical standards and Oregon state law pertaining to the practice of therapy for the specific license held
- Multicultural awareness and skills in a clinical setting
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
