Office Assistant - Part Time
The Office Assistant will perform various routine clerical duties to support the organization.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Performs clerical duties including typing, filing, and completion of simple forms.
- Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
- Operates office machines including copiers, scanners, phone and voicemail systems, personal computers, and other standard office equipment.
- Serves as the receptionist for the office, greeting visitors and applicants.
- Prepares letters, memos, forms, and reports according to written or verbal instructions.
- Prepares SWAG bags, informational packet, and agendas.
- Oversees telephone services, email correspondence, and mail distribution.
- Organize catering for recurring events and on an ad hoc basis.
- Maintains office supplies inventory.
- Maintains the stock levels of sodas and waters in the office fridges.
- Maintains organization of kitchen and various administrative rooms.
- Maintains records, documentation, and files.
- Sit as a member of our Fun Committee.
- Liaise with IT Services.
- Performs duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:

- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Clerical experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
