The Opportunity: The Marketing Media & Operations Manager will be supporting marketing strategy and collaborating cross-functionally to unlock insights around marketing performance and impact across programs, strategies, and datasets. This individual will design and consult on campaign setup to reach the target audience and successfully deliver campaign goals. Successful candidates will have excellent problem-solving skills, hands-on media tagging and tracking expertise, analytical mindset, and are adept at working with Media, Marketing, MarTech and Analytics. This is a hybrid role is based in NYC. Responsibilities: Active participation in media planning discussions regarding trafficking strategies and related operational issues. Develop new marketing channels for the Media team and define performance measurement. Troubleshoot various aspects of campaign setup (e.g. Google Campaign Manager) including impression pixels, click trackers, audience targeting, hosted or 3rd party creative issues, and internal technical issues. Audit use of existing marketing software tools with an eye towards continually improving how they are configured and evaluating new technologies to build out our marketing tech stack. Investigate data quality issues and continuously improve data quality Develop and document Ad Operations processes, and be the authority and SME on media tech best practices. Work closely with Media and Analytics teams on to identify areas for tagging improvements. Working with Analytics team: Collaborate to define campaign KPIs and learning agendas, and ensure proper tagging is in place to report results and insights. Work with Analytics to build and execute A/B hypothesis and testing models that will provide learnings to drive stronger business results. Translate results to actionable recommendations. Implement, troubleshoot, and optimize tagging and tracking to support attribution models, such as last touch attribution, multi-touch attribution, etc. Ensure proper tagging and tracking is in place to support rigorous testing - incrementality, creative, audience, vendor head-to-head, etc. Resolve tracking and reporting discrepancies with Analytics and/or partners/vendors Working with Data Engineering team: Improve data quality by collaborating with the Media, Analytics and Data Engineering teams to ensure campaigns are structured in a way to produce optimal data outputs Troubleshoot issues with ads or tags that impact data output. Qualifications: Business-minded with strong written and verbal communication skills. Bachelor’s degree in marketing analytics 5-7 years of experience in a relevant capacity, with experience in marketing B2B products and services (preferably with online subscription products). 3 years of experience with DFP/Google Ad Manager, as well as experience with other 3rd party ad serving and tracking systems including DCM/DFA, Verification and Brand Safety vendors: MOAT, DoubleVerify (DV), Integral Ad Science (IAS) etc. preferred. Working knowledge of programmatic operations and strategy. Understanding of site tagging or tag management systems Familiarity with audience segmentation technologies and capabilities Understanding and experience with latest creative types (e.g. rich media, DCO, mobile and video) Strong analytical skills-fluency in MS Excel and data analytics. Tableau a plus. Ability to manipulate data and draw insights from large datasets. Familiarity with HTML, SQL, SaaS, and JavaScript Extensive experience with marketing data sources and tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Ads, Linkedin Ads, Google Ads, Google Campaign Manager). Exposure to creative tools and good understanding of UI/UX fundamentals. Highly analytical and experienced in translating data into insights that drive business and customer value. Strong problem-solving skills, ability to structure problems into an analytics plan.
