JobSummary : The Revenue CycleConfirmation Specialist Hospital Billing (Charges) will beresponsible for verifying and ensuring the accuracy of hospitalbilling processes related to charges.
This includes charge reviewwork queues (WQs) bed assignment tables and integration with OpTimeAnesthesia Cupid Radiant and Beaker.
This role is essential formaintaining revenue integrity and compliance during thestabilization period postEpicimplementation.
Requirements
KeyResponsibilities :
- Verify the accuracy of hospitalbilling processes focusing on charge review work queues (WQs) andbed assignment tables.
- Ensure seamless integration with OpTimeAnesthesia Cupid Radiant andBeaker.
- Collaborate with billing departments toensure comprehensive and accurate datacapture.
- Perform audits to ensure compliance withestablished revenue cycleprotocols.
- Identify and rectify discrepancies in billingdata related to charges.
- Provide support and guidance to billing staffregarding revenue cycle processes and bestpractices.
- Liaise with IT and Epic implementation teamsto address systemrelated issues affecting the revenuecycle.
- Maintain uptodate knowledge of Epicapplications and revenue cycle methodologies specific to hospitalbilling.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulationsand standards.
Qualifications :
- Extensive experience in hospitalbilling with a focus on charge review work queues (WQs) bedassignment tables and integration with clinicalsystems.
- Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR)or Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP)preferred.
- Familiarity with Epic applications andhealthcare revenue cyclemanagement.
- Strong understanding of the revenue cycleprocesses for hospital billing and integration with OpTimeAnesthesia Cupid Radiant andBeaker.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolvingskills.
- Effective communication and collaborationabilities.
- Detailoriented with a focus on accuracy andcompliance.
PreferredQualifications :
- Advanced certifications inhealthcare revenue cyclemanagement.
- Previous experience in a similar role duringan Epic implementation.
WorkConditions :
- Primarily remote with approximately 25%onsite travel required during the initial stabilization periodpostgolive.
- Fulltime contract position with potential forextension based on performance and hospitalneeds.
Hospital Billing (Charge Review WQs bedassignment table integration with OpTime Anes Cupid RadiantBeaker)
Extensive experience inleadership roles within patient access and hospital administration.Proven experience with Epic implementations, particularly in thefront-end space.
Strong understanding of patient access processes,including admitting, bed placement, and patient flow. Excellentanalytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication andcollaboration abilities. Ability to manage and lead teamseffectively during high-pressure situations.
