Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with IRS stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define data governance objectives, requirements, and priorities, and develop data governance strategies and roadmaps that align with the TBM implementation and Data Modernization initiatives outlined in the SOO.
· Lead the design, development, and implementation of data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures tailored to the unique needs and requirements of the IRS, ensuring the quality, integrity, and security of data assets related to TBM and Data Modernization initiatives.
· Establish data governance structures, roles, and responsibilities within the IRS, and facilitate the formation of data governance committees and working groups to oversee data governance activities and initiatives related to TBM and Data Modernization.
· Develop and implement data governance metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and dashboards to measure and monitor the effectiveness of data governance efforts and track progress towards TBM and Data Modernization objectives.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
· Minimum of 10 years of experience in data governance, data management, or related fields, with a focus on leading data governance programs in large and complex organizations within the federal government sector.
TBM: Establish and enforce policies, procedures, and standards for managing and protecting data assets, ensuring compliance, integrity, and usability across the organization.
