Coater/Blaster
Sideworx Connect is looking to expand our coaters/blasters roster with some of our top clients in various locations across Alberta. We track the skills of individual members and demographics to search specific geographical locations to ensure workers possess the right skills to match the job.
Role Responsibilities
- Responsible for inspecting and preparing parts for coating.
- Apply coatings evenly on parts as per required Work Order specifications using the company’s patented coating systems.
- Maintain workspace, equipment, and facility cleanliness.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Comply with all safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
Role Requirements
- 1 to 2 years of experience applying spray coating in a manufacturing setting is an asset.
- Must be able to use and operate blast cabinets and blast room equipment.
- Safety tickets – H2S, CSO, First-aid
- Must have strong attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up and handle material weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to prioritize workload and have excellent time management skills.
- Must be able to work with little or no supervision.
- The ability to read and interpret drawings is an asset.
