What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Management Specialist position at Siegwerk USA?
As an Account Management Specialist at Siegwerk, you are responsible for receiving and processing customer orders; following up and ensuring shipment date is met; working with the Supply Chain group on shortages/outages and communicating to the customer accordingly. You will respond to the customer regarding pricing, formula codes, and other requests.
A successful Account Management Specialist will be able to work independently to resolve issues, take ownership of problems that arise, and work effectively with other departments to handle issues as needed. Above all, a positive and professional attitude while working with our internal and external customers is required.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing Siegwerk's domestic and international customer accounts. This includes order entry, tracking orders, problem solving, follow up with the customer.
- Performs month-end closures.
- Responsible for issuing credits and invoices to customers.
- Troubleshoots and/or problem solves on an expert level.
- Takes ownership of problems and customers issues. Works independently to resolve issues until resolved. Works with other Siegwerk USA Co. employees in other departments as needed to resolve issues.
- Maintains a positive and professional attitude at all times when working with internal and external customers.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- One-year certificate from college or technical school with some related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous SAP and system transition experience.
- Account Management.
- Excellent typing and computer ability required, including Microsoft Word/Excel. Expertise in management of consignment inventories, strongly preferred, accounting fundamentals.
- Previous Manufacturing and knowledge/experience with Logistics.
- Knowledge of ink systems.
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes and resolve issues to completion.
- Self-starter with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication, organizational and teamwork ability required.
- Previous work experience with the public, required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $52,500.00 - $56,000.00 per year
