PositionOverview :

Under minimal supervision, the Team Leader will be responsible forprioritizing and overseeing work in their assigned area.

Preforming work in the assigned area,maintaining 5S and driving continuous improvement, as well as, data analysisand reporting as required.

What your day-to-day will look like :

The Team Leader willbe responsible to support production orders and production projects. These responsibilities include theunderstanding and execution of production processes utilizing engineeringdrawings, relevant industry standards, quality common practice, and leanprinciples all while driving actively for superior safety performance.

Initiate and lead process improvementprojects and provide guidance in resolution of factory issues. The utilization of SAP ERP system, networkfiles, and company applications is essential to this position.

Also responsible for thefollowing :

o Coordinate work and / or questions regarding discrepancies with theappropriate department

o Participate in internal process review and audits

o Complete records of all results. Enter data into log books orcomputer databases

o Analyze and trend monthly data from assigned team and developinternal action items

o Engage with quality, purchasing, and material control, and otherteam leaders as needed

o Monitor and process SAP production orders in the assigned area

o Utilize all measurement tools as required

• Participateactively in Cell and production meetings
• Withminimal oversight from Production Supervisor, organize and set priority of workincluding scheduling tasks for others
• Abilityto perform any and all duties of corresponding team lead focus area (Assembly,Test, Material, Quality, etc.)
• Certifyto train on relevant internal or external process / standards and act as a mentorto fellow associates
• Collaboratewith various internal departments in resolution of production issues
• Strongtechnical understanding of product and processes
• Ownand lead specific production processes and responsibility for data analysis andreporting
• Housekeepingand 5S activities which includes o rganizingwork area for orderliness at all times and ensuring work area is accessible andsafe for internal employees and customer traffic
• Knowledge of all duties will be crossfunctional but specific duties may be assigned
• May be required to perform other duties asrequested, directed or assigned

To thrive in this role, you have :

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong leadership skills
• Intermediate computer skills required
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Basic math skills
• Problem solving skills

Preferred Knowledge / Skills, Education, andExperience :

• Minimum of three to five year manufacturing experience preferred
• Knowledge of SAP is preferred
