Medical Surgical Nurse

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical Unit on a full-time night shift schedule. As a Medical Surgical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing safe and high-quality care to our patients.

Responsibilities

• Assess and prioritize patient needs, providing individualized care to meet their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and empowerment.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the advancement of patient care and safety.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.

Requirements

• Current NV nursing license
• Current BLS certificate
• ACLS certificate
• One year full-time or three years part-time experience in an acute care setting preferred
