What are the responsibilities and job description for the Utility Worker position at Sierra Winds?
The Utility Worker performs a number of kitchen activities including pot washing, dish washing, general cleaning duties, storing food and non-food supplies, and unloading supply orders. The Utility Worker may assist the cooks in the pre-preparation of ingredients for menu items.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
- Washes, cleans, sanitizes and stores all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans and other equipment in the prescribed manner.
- ·Maintains the dish room and pot and pan washing area in a neat, clean and sanitary manner.
- ·Sets up, operates and cleans dish machine and pot washing area.
- ·Distributes and stores clean pots, dishes and utensil
- Sweeps and mops kitchen floors and storage areas.
- ·Empties trash containers as required. Cleans, sanitizes and relines trash containers
- Cleans cooking equipment, including stoves, ovens, grills, mixers, exhaust hoods, vents and all cooking tools.
- Assists in receiving and storing of delivered goods on assigned days.
- Performs set-up and clean-up as assigned.
- Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
