The Vice President of Human Resources is responsible for developing and executing Sigga’s People Strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization, specifically in the areas of succession planning, talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, training and development, and compensation. The VP, People Ops provides strategic leadership by articulating people needs and plans to the executive management team, shareholders and the board of directors, and planning to ensure the organization has the right people, with the right training, in the right places to achieve its strategic goals. When necessary, the VP People Ops must be willing to conduct global travel. It is estimated to be less than 15%.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This position is directly responsible for leading the global human resources organization
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Establish and implement a communication strategy that ensures that the mission, vision, values, current priorities and operational strategies of the business are clearly understood at every level of the organization
- Develop a people strategy to support the achievement of the overall business operations objectives, including organizational design, talent management, learning and development, and compensation planning
- Function as a strategic business advisor to the executive/senior management of each business unit or specialty group regarding key organizational and management issues.
- Work with the company's executive management team to establish a sound plan of management succession that corresponds to the strategy and objectives of the company.
- Develop comprehensive strategic recruiting and retention plans to meet the human capital needs of strategic goals.
- Develop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits plans that are competitive and cost-effective.
- Recommend, develop as necessary and implement instrumentation and performance monitoring to assess ongoing achievement to defined People Ops targets.
- Participate as a culture creator in matching our company values to promote welcoming, psychologically safe and rewarding experiences for our employees.
- Provide overall leadership and guidance to the people function by overseeing talent acquisition, career development, succession planning, retention, training, leadership development, compensation and benefits globally.

Education and Experience:
- A BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university; MBA or MA/MS in human resources or related field preferred.
- Experience leading a global organization
- Experience working in a private equity backed environment preferred
- SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
