Sigma Healthcare Team is looking for a Registered Nurse CVICU to work at our client's facility in Austin.
Shift: 06:45 - 19:15
Summary:
Provides direct patient care in cardiac ICU which may include transplant patients in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.
Detailed Responsibilities:
Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.
Monitors, documents, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including disposition, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
Effectively delegates patient care to ancillary personnel.
Education/Credentials/Essential:
Registered Nurse License in TX state.
Certifications Required: BLS, PALS
Certifications Preferred: ACLS
Education Equivalent Experience:
Essential :
Graduate of an accredited Registered/Professional Nursing program.
Required Work Experience:
2 year intensive or Critical Care experience required.
