Essential duties and Responsibilities:
- Performance of assigned fetal ultrasound examinations.
- Provides thorough and accurate documentation in the digital reporting software.
- Effective communication of verbal history and findings to interpreting Maternal-Fetal Medicine Physician.
- Select and operate appropriate ultrasound transducers and adjust technical factors to guarantee patient safety while still obtaining the highest quality ultrasound image possible (abiding by the ALARA, as low as reasonable achievable, principle).
- Participation in department quality assurance meetings.
- Consistently follow established safety rules and regulations.
- Knowledge of current High-Risk Obstetrical ultrasound practice and guidelines.
- Evaluate equipment to ensure it is in proper working condition and place appropriate work orders when necessary.
- Work collaboratively with other partners to provide the utmost quality in patient care and satisfaction.
- Graduate of an accredited diagnostic medical program.
- Inpatient and outpatient, adult and pediatric ultrasounds performed.
- ARDMS, BLS and American Heart Association ACLS
- Current and Valid state licence( where applicable)
