What You Will Do:
- The Task Lead reports to the Task Order Program Manager.
- Ensures the proper handling of classified information within the organization, including nuclear weapons information.
- Possesses significant experience in government classified information classification and management, as well as sufficient experience with nuclear weapons classification to perform the job effectively.
What You Will Need (Minimum Job Requirements):
- Must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, in such fields as public policy, security, engineering, management, intelligence studies, or national security studies.
- Must have at least ten (10) years of government experience, including at least three (3) years of working in the national security field, with a focus on classification and handling of classified information.
- Experience in government agencies, military service, or private sector organizations that work with classified information.
- Must have thorough understanding of the laws, regulations, policies, and procedures related to the classification and handling of classified information.
- Knowledge of the various levels of classification, the classification marking system, and the process for declassification and downgrading of information.
- Must be able to lead and direct a team performing classification management and be able to make recommendations on topics related to classification.
- The services specified performed at the following locations: the Department of Energy, National Nuclear Security Administration's (DOE/NNSA) Headquarters facilities located in Germantown, Maryland, the James Forrestal Building and The Portals Building located in Washington, D.C., and the NNSA Albuquerque Complex, located in Albuquerque, NM.
