What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sign Painter position at Sign Builders?
Sign Builders is now hiring a sign painter with automotive or pressure pot spray painting experience.
Paint sign letters and box signs with HVLP spray equipment, paint or varnish wood signs with roller and brush, paint storefront fascias with roller and brush. Work at heights up to 20' from ladders or man lifting equipment. Physically strenuous and requires some lifting, climbing bending and working on ladders. After hours, overnight and outer island work included.
This is NOT an assembly line job. Sign Builders manufactures custom, one of a kind signs for business. Every sign is a unique creation, built from metal, plastic or wood.
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED
Valid Hawaii drivers license
Able to lift 50 lbs
Able to work on a ladder at heights up to 20'
Available for after hours, overnight and outer island assignments
Outstanding character
Love to work with your hands
Good focus and attention to detail

Responsibilities
Review fabrication drawingsMix lacquer paint to specified colors
- Complete painting operations according to plans. If discrepancies exist, check in with supervisor
- Clean and maintain spray and roller paint equipment
Conduct field surveys to evaluate job site conditions
