This Service Technician position is an entry to mid-level role based out of our Union City, CA branch. On the job training is provided, as well as a company truck and tools. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Responsibilities:
Service-
- Work independently to troubleshoot/repair pumps on field calls and in our shop.
- Working knowledge of basic hand tools (wrench/screwdrivers/hammer)
- Driving to field calls throughout California, parts of Nevada; and occasional travel to other company office locations.
Office and Warehouse-
- Packing equipment for shipment and delivery to customers
- Operate a forklift
- Warehouse Management (organization/inventory stocking/cleaning tools)
- Facility Maintenance (cleaning, organization)
- Maintain company vehicle (washing/fuel/inventory stocking/cleaning tools)
General-
- Adhere to safety standards per company policy
- Maintain consistent company image
- Basic computer skills (outlook/email)
Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License and Clean Driving Record
- Fluent in English Communication (reading and writing)
- Pass Drug and Background Check
- A working knowledge of electrical, plumbing and mechanical troubleshooting is desirable, though specific training will be provided on the job.
- Ability to independently lift 100 lbs.
- Ability and willingness to work with sewage
