What are the responsibilities and job description for the Branch supervisor position at Signal Security?
Position Summary :
A Signal Branch Dedicated Supervisor provides functional leadership to Signal’s Community Based Security Officers through the development and implementation of policies and practices essential to the effective management of day-to-day operations.
Basic duties include protecting all sites and managing all reporting officers. All duties listed below are minimum requirements, additional site-specific duties may be required.

Can you effectively adopt and communicate changes in regulations and company policy as well as train Dedicated officers to complete their assigned tasks?
- Financial Acumen : Understanding company measurements while executing the necessary behaviors to drive performance. Can you identify and communicate potential hiring needs to your Dedicated Operations Coordinator as well as participate in the interview and onboarding process.
- Team Development : Communicate with Clients, team members and management effectively and in a timely manner, receiving and relaying feedback and executing follow up as needed.
Can you create an environment of openness, trust and respect while coaching and developing the Advanced and Dedicated Officer’s performance?
Project Management : Complete understanding and execution of daily tasks and efficiently delivering services that meet the needs of the business.
Can you complete your daily assigned tasks with the additional responsibility of reviewing the activity and incident reports of Advanced and Dedicated Officers?
Responsibilities :
- Coach, monitor, and develop accountability for individual performance of the Advanced Dedicated Officer and Dedicated Officer’s to align with company standards.
- Leads the Branch Manager Daily Scrum to communicate all service, property, and post order changes.
- Schedules and conducts ride-alongs with officers under their supervision, providing feedback, accountability, and recognition as needed.
- Participate in the hiring process, interviewing candidates, and setting up orientation dates and times. Communicate regularly with the Coordinator throughout the hiring process.
- Responsible for equipment inventory and maintenance including uniforms, vehicles, devices, phones, etc. while communicating any equipment needs and issues to their Coordinator.
- Participating in a performance review during recommended time frames with the Coordinator to enhance the Officer Brand Experience.
- Responsible for ensuring schedule is complete to fulfill contracted services and will cover shifts as necessary to ensure completion while minimizing overtime.
- Responsible for recommending and issuing disciplinary action for personnel in violation of the Signal Standard Operating Procedures.
Furthermore, providing positive recognition for personnel going above and beyond the Signal expectations.
Communicate with the Coordinator in the Weekly Coordinator Meeting to review weekly score card, route reviews, operation priorities, and all client related issues.
Requirements :
- 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Pass background check and drug test
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Complete training modules within first month
- Excellent organization, oral, and written communication skills
- Demonstrate a commitment to service, organization values and professionalism through appropriate conduct and demeanor at all times
- Must be able to move equipment weighing up to 20 pounds
