Compensation: $95,000 - $110,000, Salary exempt; based on experience
Office Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Your Role
The Director of Lending oversees all aspects of our in-house lending program which is designed to assist our franchises with growing their business. This role is a highly visible position which interacts with franchise owners and home office team members to ensure lending decisions match our criteria and assist with profitable growth. The position also involves coaching, training and mentoring franchise owners to build strong financial acumen during all stages of their business.
What Youll Do in This Role
Strategic Financial Support 80%
- Oversee and approve/deny cash transfers under the Lending program using established lending criteria.
- Evaluate individual franchise debt levels and assist in identifying issues and corrective actions needed to reduce/eliminate their debt. Follow up on established goals and ensure accountability.
- Understand business drivers and provide coaching to franchises to improve cash flow, profitability and improve KPIs.
- Responsible for franchise owner training related to the lending program.
- Implement new policies and procedures as needed.
- Work with Technology team to improve process flows and automate processes.
Team Management 10%
- Lead, train, develop, review and ensure accountability of team members.
Relationship Development 10%
- Partner with franchise owners and home office team members to support the franchise network regarding financial acumen and the lending program.

Qualifications/Knowledge:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA, CMA or MBA preferred
- 7 years of relevant experience in lending or banking
- Franchising experience preferred but not required
- Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Supervisory Experience

The Office Environment:
As part of the company, you can expect to work in a standard office setting where there is a positive team atmosphere. Our office is a collaborative space where cross-department projects are frequent. Occasional overtime may be required as business needs dictate. You will have exposure to moderate noise levels and on occasion outside weather conditions (walking between buildings, networking events).
