Job Posting for Ground Control Dispatcher at Signature Flight Support
A Dispatcher has primary responsibility for the coordination of all services and communication of tasks to the line team, and the real-time system management. Dispatch is primary for air to ground communication, as well as ground to ground personnel communication with aircraft. Other duties include logging each requested service, change service status, provide answers to questions by retrieving information, and supervising the operation’s flow of services by prioritizing services. Promotes and sells the Company’s services and products to aircraft passengers and crew. Handles and coordinates customer service requests in a professional and courteous manner to ensure the best possible service.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Scheduling and dispatching fuelers and LSTs, to appropriate request according to the order of request or the customers immediate needs
Relaying information to team members such as information pertaining aircraft
Using telephones, two-way radios, or text messages to contact customers, LSTs or emergency personnel
Communicate with supervisors or customers to resolve problems, requests for services
Record customers requested services such as fuel, catering, hangar space, hotel accommodations, ground transportation, etc.
Comply with Company policies and procedures related to customer service standards, ramp, safety, and security procedures
Communicate with customers via telephone, fax, face to face, e-mail, Concierge Air System, Unicom/air to ground radio
Monitor all arrivals and departures flights activities
Perform other duties as assigned
Have all monitors displaying SIGOps, FIDs, FlightAware and SIGnet
Dispatch Fuel / Service directly to assigned team member
Call out Arrival / Departure to assigned Marshaller
Call out aircraft POL 30 mins prior
Communicate with aircraft on the air for all flight needs
Coordinate with Customer Service Concierge on the valeting of customer vehicles for arrivals and departures.
Assist with CSR duties, as able
Responsible for opening and printing landing cards
Responsible for answering radio (AIRINC) for all inbound and outbound
Track completion times for services entered on SIGnet through status updates
Monitor services over 15 minutes past ordered time “Red Line” on SIGOps and alert appropriate staffing for status update
Monitor latest logistics reports (NetJets), ensuring reservations are updated in SIGnet for arrivals and departures
Periodic review of email, when possible
Build/Update Daily Flights Schedule
All service requests entered in real-time into SIGnet
High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills.
