Essential Functions:
Solving mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on production.
Reading, analyzing, and interpreting technical procedures, blueprints, service manuals, and work orders to perform required maintenance work.
Conducts preventive maintenance schedule.
Dealing with incoming work requests.
Communicating existing and potential issues with your group leaders and/or maintenance manager.
Abiding by different safety measures and policies.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Minimum High School diploma or GED and mechanical apprenticeship and/or vocational school/technology certificate in mechanic.
Experience / Abilities:
Five (5) years of mechanical technical hands-on experience.
Ability to read blueprints and hydraulic / pneumatic schematics.
Ability to use appropriate hand, power and specialty tools and diagnostic equipment to complete job tasks.
Ability to read, use and understand gauges, tools and instruments relating to product quality and equipment repair.
Ability to work independently.
Must have sound knowledge and experience in Industrial Maintenance environment with repair and troubleshooting machine issues and breakdowns along with general maintenance.
Must have a good working knowledge of mechanics and troubleshooting mechanical issues.
Must have experience in welding with MIG and/or arc welder.
Must have a good working knowledge in hydraulic, pneumatic, pumps, valves, cylinders, conveyors, etc.
Forklifts and scissor lift driving experience is preferred but not necessary.
Lathe operation experience is preferred but not necessary.
Must have organization and housekeeping skills.
Must have good communication skills throughout all levels of the organization.
Willingness to work on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift, overtime and weekends as required.
Computer skills:
Windows and Microsoft Office experience is preferred but not necessary.
