Plans, coordinates, and directs the quality control program designed to ensure continuous production of products while adhering to IATF16949 requirements and those specific requirements of our customers, by performing the following duties personally or through quality engineering team members.

- Responsibility and authority to stop production to correct quality problems
- Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation of raw materials, materials in production and final products.
- Interprets engineering drawings, diagrams and confers with management or engineering to determine quality and reliability standards.
- Devises sampling procedures and designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating and reporting quality and reliability data.
- Establishes program to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement and analytical equipment and facilities.
- Selects products for tests at specified stages in the production process, and tests for variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance and mechanical characteristics.
- Develops and implements methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and devises methods to assess cost and responsibility.
- Complies and writes training material and conducts training sessions on quality control activities such as self-audits.
- Acts as Customer Representative of the Quality Management System with responsibility and authority to ensure customer requirements are addressed including selection of special characteristics, setting quality objectives and related training, corrective and preventive actions, product design and development and warranty management.
- Manage customer requirements for sustainability.
