Job description
This position provides team members and customers the best in service while processing and distributing data, and supplying them with accurate billing information.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under supervision of the Admin Team Leader
1. Processes orders from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., processing orders for eight hours and providing coverage when needed,
2. Manages order processing, such as training other team members, keeping uniformity a top priority.
3. Enters information from hand written orders into the computer.
4. Enters information from the production form into the computer.
5. Uses production details, enters information for scheduling by the Design and Production department; using item details, and enters information that allows the Purchasing department to build Purchase Orders and place orders from the computer.
6. Sends order acknowledgements for accuracy on each order processed.
7. Cross trains within the department.
8. Maintains the flexibility to perform related work as required.
9. Works in the customer service capacity in order to fill-in as needed.
EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS
Education/Experience: Sufficient formal or informal education to assure the ability to write well, work well with the public and to use simple business practices.
* Two years of work experience in a clerical capacity.
Knowledge of: Operation of computer software; correct English usage, spelling, grammar, and punctuation; office practices, procedures, and equipment.
Skilled at: Operating computer and computer software; entering information into a computer; handling cash; maintaining files; organizing information; proofreading and recalculating figures; making arithmetic calculations; preparing reports; maintaining supplies; understanding and carrying out verbal and written directions; maintaining work relations with staff and public; recognizing and maintaining confidentiality of work materials as appropriate; communicating clearly and concisely orally and in writing; working independently in the absence of the advisor.
Desirable qualifications: Accuracy, Organization, Flexibility and Positive Customer Service attitude.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
