What
You'll Do
The reporting analyst will provide expertise in acquiring, managing, manipulating, and analyzing clinical and financial data to understand, make conclusions, and report results to various organizational departments. This position also requires maintaining communication and collaboration with our third-party IT company.
- Administrate current Power BI environment.
- Design and build a cloud-based analytics database and evaluate other appropriate data sources or entry methodologies as needed.
- Assist staff in accessing and utilizing standard dashboards and reports.
- Research and support process improvement and QI initiatives.
- Identify data quality and other data issues and recommend resolving them.
- Develop graphs, reports, and presentations of project results.
- Advise clinic and Operations staff on the impact of procedure changes on analytics.
- Generate and manage routine reports throughout the organization.
- Point of contact between Siloam Health and our IT company to address communication and collaboration during significant IT issues.
- Support in maintaining internal inventory of all equipment.
- Perform other ad-hoc projects or tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Who We Are Looking For
Education and Experience
- 2-3 years of advanced Excel experience (Power Query, Pivot Tables, etc.)
- 1-2 years of data visualization experience (Power BI preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Experience with Athenahealth or another EMR a plus.
- Experience in the grants-funded environment a plus.
- 1-2 years of essential SQL a plus
Qualifications
- Exceptional organizational skills, such as being detail-oriented, allow for developing data-driven reports.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize projects to meet deadlines.
- Ability to use SQL and Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables, graphs, and charts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively relate data to coworkers.
- Excellent critical thinking skills to help solve business problems and make decisions.
- Tendency to pay close attention to small details that could impact results.
- General business operations, objectives, strategies, processes, and information flow knowledge.
- Adherence to OSHA and confidentiality requirements
- Ability to work well in a team setting.
- Knowledge of a variety of IT systems, databases, and applications
- Passionate about Christian ministry to the underserved and in complete agreement with Siloam’s mission and core values
- Willingness to serve persons with
limited access to healthcare and who are from different cultures and faith
beliefs.
Salary : $45,000 - $52,585
