We are searching for an intelligent, empathetic and passionate Bar Manager who is in pursuit of career growth in the hospitality industry. This opening is for the Million Dollar Cowboy Steakhouse. This position will be responsible for day-to-day operations of their respective location. The core qualities we are looking for in a candidate: organization, leadership, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving.
Role Responsibilities:
- Responsible for weekly and bi-weekly liquor, beer, and bar supply orders
- Report general maintenance issues and/or contact vendors for repairs
- Ordering of bar equipment and supplies
- Hiring and training new FOH staff
- Bar, Liquor Room, and Beer cooler organization
- Menu development- beer, liquor offerings, and signature cocktails
- Participate in monthly inventory counts
- Work with Reps and Distributors to bring in new products, coordinate promotions, and train staff
- Update POS system with relevant and needed pricing and ordering
- Assist in weekly scheduling of bartenders and barbacks
- Oversee daily operations as MOD - MOD shifts will take priority in this particular role
- Support GM in creating and maintaining a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all customers
- Help ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations regarding alcohol service and sales
Role Requirements:
- Strong understanding of business management and principles
- Excellent computer/POS, problem-solving, and customer service skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to diffuse tense situations and resolve conflict.
- Willingness to work during peak hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Effectively delegate responsibilities and maximize resources
- Decisiveness.
- Ability to walk, stand, and occasionally carry heavy items in a fast-paced, stressful environment
