What are the responsibilities and job description for the Democracy Manager position at Silver State Voices?
Democracy Manager
Silver State Voices
Organization Overview
Silver State Voices (SSV) is a civic engagement coordination hub among 501(c)3 organizations in Nevada. SSV is the Nevada affiliate of the State Voices network. Our partners’ work spans a diverse set of issues and communities, but we are connected by a shared commitment to a fair, accessible, and just democracy for all Nevadans. Our mission is to create a healthy, robust democracy by ensuring BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) and underrepresented Nevadans are at the cornerstone of decision-making, power-building, and engagement. SSV develops infrastructure, fosters collaboration among diverse entities, and employs new tools and technology. SSV believes that democracy works best and its outcomes are most just when the voices of all Nevadans are heard. Silver State Voices is a fiscally sponsored project of NEO Philanthropy.
